 Beauty and the Beast is preparing for another long run on tour. UK Productions is staging the show and they have asked Le Maitre to supply the pyrotechnics. Le Maitre's expertise was previously used on the West End production and the touring show a few years ago.
As well as supplying the pyrotechnics Le Maitre were asked to install all of the effects and train the crew and actors in their safe use.
The show features a stunning pyrotechnic effect – the enchantresses fireball which is thrown from the actors hand to the floor. Some effects have been made specially for the show including Gunshots and Smokes for use in costumes.
Other pyrotechnic effects used are 10x12 Stage Gerbs, Theatrical Flash Loud Report, Gold Glitter Mines and Medium Smoke Cartridges. In total 20 pyrotechnic effects will be fired per show using the Surefire Wireless System.
